Essential Packing
Here is a suggested list of essential packing for Morocco:
- Passport – 6 month expiry date
- Comprehensive travel insurance
- Cash including € notes, switch/credit card or travellers’ cheques
- Driving licence
- Alarm clock
- Sunglasses
- Travel adapter – 3 into 2 prongs
- Universal sink plug – hotels don’t always provide them
- Appropriate clothing – see Dress Code
- Matches or lighter
- Torch
- Meds including eye drops, prescriptions, painkillers and plasters
- Cosmetics to include sunscreen and lip balm
- Plastic bags for laundry and rubbish
- Sarong to use as a wrap or lightweight towel
- Sleeping bag or liner if trekking
- Quickdry towel – hammam and some hotels don’t provide them
- Flipflops or rubber shoes – hammam and bathroom
- Walking shoes and socks
- Wet-wipes or dry-hand cleanse
- Self-seal plastic bags to protect kit e.g. camera, iPod
- Camera, polarizing filter and spare battery
- Bumbag for valuables
- Daysac for trekking
