The Kasbah trail is a superb cultural experience through Berber villages, verdant oasis valleys and ancient palmeries, past jagged mountains, nomadic families and one thousand Berber kasbahs.

Start your holiday in Marrakech, one the most fascinating cities in Morocco. Framed by the snowy peaks of the High Atlas, with rose-colored ramparts, Marrakech is a unique experience. We can arrange for an English-speaking City Guide to lead you through the maze of sites, sounds and smells while you lose yourself in the exotic atmosphere.

Leave Marrakech behind for an unparalleled experience as you move across this dramatic landscape and, perhaps, stop to drink a glass of mint tea with a nomadic family in their traditional Bedouin tent.

What to expect on Erg Chebbi Camel Treks

Arrive in Merzouga where your camels and nomad guide will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Camel trek in Erg Chebbi as the sun sets across a desert landscape, for approximately 2 hours, to reach your shelter for the night: a traditional Bedouin tent.

At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. A simple meal of tagine is freshly prepared for you by your guide; after dinner it is usual for the camel guides to sing Berber songs under a desert night sky.

Rise early to greet the new day and, after mint tea and breakfast, camel trek back across the Erg Chebbi dunes to shower and depart; or continue to camel trek for another day and night.
